Industry Manager, Large Customer Sales (Urdu, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting or media.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Urdu fluently to communicate with and serve Urdu speaking customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, client relationship management and servicing, and consultative selling.
  • Knowledge of and experience with using Google and YouTube advertising solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pakistan's technology and advertising landscape, with strong understanding of Pakistan’s Telco, CPG and Agency industry.
  • Understanding of digital advertising solutions and media products.
  • Ability to mentor account managers and work towards goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a genuine commitment to contributing to the growth and development of Pakistan's Tech industry.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. As an Industry Manager, you'll provide advertising solutions to consumers and businesses in Pakistan. You'll manage the relationships with clients and agencies, identifying, educating and developing clients in order to drive their business growth. This role requires flexibility to accommodate extensive and regular travel to Pakistan, to effectively support customers in the market.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow Google's presence in Pakistan with higher focus on key sectors like Telco, Fintech, Ecommerce, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and Telco industries.
  • Analyze data trends and client performance, develop strategic plans, and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and presentations with minimal guidance.
  • Collaborate and consult with clients with the goal of extending relationships, increasing client and agency base, and optimizing their advertising growth.
  • Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with customers and to serve as an advocate at events and conferences.
  • Advocate new product releases, internally and externally. Build and manage relationships to deliver a plan working as an independent contributor with a large set of internal and external stakeholders.
