Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in online sales, advertising, marketing, and business-development.
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues and convert to straightforward, timely action and develop in a dynamic, fluid, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to manage customers at scaled.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

As a Sales Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of Account Strategists dedicated to empowering Small Business (SMB) advertisers. You are the bridge between complex advertising technology and the entrepreneurs who drive the economy, ensuring every client receives the best solution that fuels their growth. You will set the overarching goal and strategy for your team, identifying how clients products and services can achieve massive scale to reach hundreds or thousands of potential customers. You will lead, coach, and inspire a team of Account Strategists. You will be responsible for their professional growth, performance tracking, and day-to-day operational excellence. You will manage a high volume of accounts (hundreds of customers) by ensuring your team deeply understands individual campaign mechanics and specific client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage teams of Account Manager/Account Strategists on Google customer solution.
  • Deliver on strategic goals through your team at scale.
  • Define the strategy and solutions, align on offering for customers.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Analyze and present weekly performance figures to the SMB management team, and participate in weekly updates and monthly business reviews with a variety of stakeholders.
