Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
- 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with C/C++, Java, or Python programming languages, and Android/Linux systems.
- Experience with scripting in Shell and Python.
- Experience in Android, Android open source project and automated testing.

As a Partner Engineer in the Devices Platform Operations team for YouTube, you will deliver technical solutions and tools to empower internal teams and our partner teams worldwide. You will lead deployments, optimize implementations, and manage integrations to build strong, successful, long-term device partnerships. You will also have the opportunity to lead projects and teams that require close collaboration with other teams like Product, Engineering, Business Development, Operations and Marketing. You will be improving existing operations, defining and commercializing new solutions, bridging product gaps, automating partner operations and taking new initiatives from conception to successful deployment. You will balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. Responsibilities
- Lead implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
- Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
- Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
- Identify, guide, and optimize the business flow from new existing and new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies.
- Work closely with our Android TV partners in the region and globally to accelerate and improve YouTube integrations on new consumer devices.
