As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Product Manufacturing and Build Management (PMBM) organization leads sustaining product operations/manufacturing for trays, racks, networking, and machine learning. This role focuses on sustaining product operations/manufacturing for trays.

In this role, you will collaborate with the tray product/materials teams to oversee the successful manufacturing of trays, ensuring they meet customer demand, requirements, and delivery schedules. You will be responsible to ensure that sufficient capacity is available to align with forecasted demand and the product roadmap for these complex products. You will collaborate cross-functional with teams that include material management, site operations, contract manufacturers, and planning.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Enable and optimize product on time delivery by actively managing material, capacity, and product specific levers.
  • Manage the sourcing of tray products at global contract manufacturers.
  • Drive mitigation efforts to minimize liability of excess and obsolete inventory caused by demand reductions, platform transitions, and product moves.
  • Scale product capacity, materials and processes.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing operations and planning teams to identify and drive opportunities to improve product on-time delivery.
