About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager on the Google Public Sector Department of Defense team, you will establish and lead a strategic planning framework for complex program portfolios, including direct influence over resourcing decisions, planning cadence, and planning stakeholders. Your solutions will integrate multiple Google Cloud Platform (GCP) product technologies, innovative applied AI capabilities, or partner ISV solutions in a differentiated, repeatable manner that accelerates time-to-value and reduces risk for customers – making Google Cloud easy to adopt. You will be a strategic problem solver with long-term direction - the customer's needs must be viewed through the lens of what could be done, not what has been done.

Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.
