Video Enablement Lead

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience working with digital organizations.
  • Experience identifying and recommending scalable solutions to improve customer strategy, and working with executive leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience planning, buying and measuring offline and online media.
  • Experience identifying how market trends will translate into business opportunities.
  • Experience in mining data to create insights and build compelling stories/narratives.
  • Ability to communicate, develop, and deliver simple, compelling messages that easily translate that into sales narratives that captivate and influence audiences across all levels of an organization.
  • Passion for video advertising and brand building.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

The Strategy and Product Acceleration (SPA) team provides unified specialist support across all advertising buying doors and products for Large Customer Sales (LCS) Canada. We incubate, accelerate, and scale market defining strategies for customers, creating sustained long-term value. The team has expertise across brand, creative, media orchestration and measurement strategy and sales.

In this role, you will work closely with Google's largest brand advertisers and Google's internal Large Customer Sales team to transform the way they build brands on YouTube and across our video platforms. You will act as a thought leader in brand strategy, a creative inspiration for brand solutions, an innovator in new media strategy. You will lead advertiser consults and discussions around how to maximize their use of the platform and develop YouTube and Video narratives for account teams.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales to build and execute plans that exceed customer objectives and drive video business across YouTube and third-party inventory. 
  • Identify new strategic opportunities for Google to drive incremental impact in the market, and incubate solutions in market. 
  • Develop, leverage global and regional, and refine go-to-market strategy with the objective to improve the sales teams approach to support clients with large, multi-faceted media propositions.
  • Lead customer meetings and workshops, ensure engaged perspectives and differentiated value propositions come to life through unique market relevant insights.
  • Own a video sales goal across a set of key verticals.
