Strategy and Operations Manager, YouTube Marketing

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate advisory, or agency role; or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience leading end-to-end campaign planning and execution, setting up operations, leading transformations, and partnering with multiple internal and external partners.
  • Experience developing business strategies, or managing cross-functional initiatives and working with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience with AI-driven tools and implementing new technology in key projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in strategy and operations or leading planning, budgeting and objectives and key results processes.
  • Experience leading AI transformation/acceleration projects, including goal setting, plan development, driving deployment and change management.
  • Experience with investigative problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to executive management.
  • Experience in B2C or B2B marketing with an interest in marketing, digital media consumption patterns, or part of technology, media, telecoms consulting practice.
  • Ability to work across teams, build relationships, and influence executives.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and execution skills, and ability to take complex data and distill them into meaningful insights and a coherent story.

About the job

The APAC YouTube Marketing Strategy and Operations team's mission is to be an objective partner to shape and enable strategic priorities for growth. This team's focus is in defining the growth goal for APAC YouTube Marketing, defining the key strategies, key enablers and building key operational strategies and processes to support execution excellence and overall YouTube Marketing team’s business impact and organizational health.

As a Strategy and Operations manager, you will oversee the APAC YouTube Marketing planning and operations. You will partner with key stakeholders from global and regional Strategy and Operations teams across Google and YouTube, Regional YouTube Marketing teams, Country YouTube Marketing teams and YouTube cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual planning and budgeting process, as well as the annual/quarterly resourcing planning process for APAC YouTube Marketing, partnering with Global, Regional and Local teams.
  • Lead innovation and optimization for Key marketing operations, including AI transformation initiatives, partnering with Global, Regional and Local teams.
  • Be responsible for planning key organizational initiatives based on analysis of key organization surveys (YouTube Marketing Pulse, Google Pulse etc.).
  • Develop key executive communications for internal and external audiences.
