Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in collaboration across diverse teams and driving consensus towards common goals.
  • Experience working with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of the Cloud Service Provider market and ecosystem, particularly if the experience is from a Public Sector lens.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Google Public Sector, you will work together with a highly skilled team of analysts with the mission of helping the business deliver meaningful and impactful change to public sector. You will own strategic initiatives that include assessing market opportunities, developing Go-to-Market strategies and informing the associated business planning processes for our US Public Sector Team.Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Gather, research, and analyze market and engaging landscape data and intelligence, including externally (e.g., industry, peers), to produce detailed analysis, models, and recommendations for decision making.
  • Prepare and deliver internal reports and data insights for both internal teams and client teams (e.g., Product Engineering).
  • Perform external research to benchmark analysis capabilities.
  • Help define and produce functional and team-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data-driven business narratives.
