- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure dynamic environments.
- Background in telemetry, observability, metrics, or data science.
- A proactive mindset and strong motivation to work on challenging problems.

The Rollouts team, part of the P2020 organization and Google Production Platform, provides Google's Continuous Delivery solution. We enable teams to deploy binaries, configurations, footprint changes, Spanner schema updates, and more to production with ease, safety, speed, scalability and reliability, all while adhering to production best practice.
As a Senior Engineering Lead in Rollouts, you will drive innovation and build high-impact features that define the customer experience. You will build and consume telemetry and data insights to help drive decision making and outcomes that help us understand how our product is performing and guide customers to get the best out of their usage.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a key technical decision-maker for our technology stack, defining and extending it to meet strategic goals and helping shape future direction.
- Shape and drive strategic projects that empower users to observe, debug, and control their Rollouts.
- Contribute to operational procedures, leading initiatives to bolster system resilience and minimize on-call toil.
- Partner with external teams and other product functions (Product Management, UX) to enhance cross-product journeys and integrations.
- Serve as an expert in telemetry and metrics, defining the insights required to measure system performance and output quality.
