Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical or quantitative field.
  • Experience across go-to-market, business operations/management consulting, data analysis and program management, with the ability to drive business growth within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Databases and Google Cloud Segmentation, and in working with customers.
  • Ability to manage projects and drive operational efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to extract insights from data and translate them into strategies.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

Google Cloud Databases offers a portfolio of managed database services that meet customers' workload requirements from development to business critical global scale. The team's mission is to enable businesses to deliver scalable, secure, performant, and reliable solutions.

You will lead go-to-market (GTM) execution for Databases in partnership with the regional Specialist Sales/CE leads, Partner, and Product teams. You will build GTM strategies, drive alignment between the GTM and Databases organization, build sales motions and cross-product area solutions, and drive activation efforts.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000-$296,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Influence executive-level decision-making around core business decisions, such as prioritization of growth opportunities, through scalable and analytical insights to increase productivity.
  • Design and lead programs around new customer acquisition, business growth attainment, and market development objectives.
  • Gather customer and field feedback and work with the Databases product teams to continually optimize GTM strategy and execution, aligned to changing market and customer needs.
  • Organize the design and implementation of business cadence to deliver operations including reporting success of Databases GTM.
  • Maintain an understanding of the Databases product portfolio, roadmap, the evolving trends in the segment and competitive landscape.
