  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in technical program management or product management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in Product Quality, Technical Program Management, and Datacenter Operations.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas - Machine Learning/Artificial lntelligence (AI), Servers/Networking or Compute and Storage.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Data Centers Quality and Reliability team provides long-term improvement to products and processes that ensure this cutting-edge equipment is reliable and can be successfully deployed and maintained in the data center environment.

In the role of Quality and Reliability Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will work with quality Technical Leads, Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Center Operations, and other key contributors and stakeholders to define quality targets, monitor key metrics, initiate corrective and preventative actions as needed, and regularly report quality status to leadership and cross functional teams.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage Program, end-to-end quality by setting quality targets and developing schedules and requirements in support of overall program quality and reliability.
  • Manage product and datacenter quality engineers, in coordination with Development Engineering, in support of root cause and corrective actions.
  • Lead data analysis efforts to track trends and identify quality/reliability escapes and program manage data center technicians, H/W and S/W engineering, and Manufacturing quality engineers in depth root cause.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Server Operations, Reliability and Product and Supplier Quality teams to drive quality initiatives.
  • Manage communications to leadership and key stakeholders.
