Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 13 years of experience working in a creative discipline (e.g., writing, filmmaking, video editing, design, art direction, photography, etc.).
  • Experience in managing external brands, advertising, creative agency or an in-house creative team.
  • A portfolio of creative work displaying experience in conceptual or experiential design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in presenting creative brand and marketing ideas to executive stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of evolving industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
  • Ability to take technologies or concepts and translate them into films, screen visuals, and physical and digital experiences that emotionally connect with consumer, business, influencer and press audiences.
  • Ability to change insights into brands, products, and target audiences to inform creative ideas.
  • Excellent organizational networking skills with ability to drive cross-functional teams to deliver creative content.

About the job

As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.

The Events and Experiences team is part of the Google Marketing organization. We bring the brand, products and services of Google to life through physical, digital and hybrid experiences.

In this role, you will be working on some of Google's product launch moments in the United States, including leading the creative team’s involvement in digital, physical and live event content. You will be responsible for taking projects from creative development right through production and execution.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development and presentation of creatives that strengthen Google’s brand and market position from films, to keynote screen content, to interactive technology demos to digital experiences.
  • Build and lead project teams of creative professionals both internally and externally.
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and feedback to creative and production project team members.
