Program Manager, Partners, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with foundational cloud technologies (e.g., network, compute, database, middleware, visualization, etc.).
  • 6 years of experience with partner/channel pipeline development and management, and go-to-market strategies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud platforms in Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).
  • Experience managing partner businesses, by working through pipeline, sales, and deployment cycle.
  • Experience working directly with partners to implement go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to foster and develop key relationships with new and existing partners.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multi-regional and dynamic team.

As a Partner Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You will plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle, which includes managing global projects locally, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the progress and deadlines. You will join the Global Partner Incentives, Programs, and Deal Pursuit teams contributing your experience, organizational skills, and your ability to build and scale offerings, tools, and resources. You'll work towards continually improving the scale, depth, and quality of experience provided to the partner ecosystem. You’ll track and analyze the performance portfolio offerings and campaigns/programs to make and inform strategic decisions aligned to key business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Deal Pursuit on strategic, complex resold contracts across the region ensuring that there is adherence to policies and compliance.
  • Define the portfolio of partner program offerings (tools, resources, etc.) to help expand the capability of the partner ecosystem to sell, market, and deliver Google Cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build customized ”Go Big” plans for channel partners geared towards helping them accelerate sales and marketing capabilities and work cross-functionally to design and operationalize incentive/rebate/earnings programs and processes aligned to key strategic goals.
  • Implement a series of earnings/incentive programs that will help partners increase their profitability with Google Cloud.
  • Develop a community of "extended sales team" from our channel partners and represent the partner to the partner global team to improve offerings.
