Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, continuous integration, or delivery.
- Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building prototypes or applications.
- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Knowledge of standard IT security practices, including identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management.
- Knowledge of GCP techniques such as dual encoders, and embedding vectors.

As a Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Developer, you will provide technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. This includes providing best practices on secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, and more. You will also provide guidance in ensuring that customers receive the best of what GCP can offer and have the best experience in migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining applications in GCP. Additionally, you will work with Product Management and Product Engineering to deliver excellence in Google Cloud products and features.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Provide domain expertise in cloud platforms and infrastructure, solving complex cloud platform challenges.
- Work with customers to design and implement Cloud based technical architectures, migration approaches, and application optimizations that enable business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges for customers.
- Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.
- Travel up to 30% for in-region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
