Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience developing technical strategy, managing contracts, teams, vendors and people, through end-to-end Physical Security technology delivery.
  • Experience with Physical Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Case Management, Video Management, PSIM, IT Networking, Construction/Architecture, and no-code development platforms.
  • Experience in people management in a technical environment, and mentoring and coaching team members.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in technology delivery, design and execution within Physical/Cyber Security industries with PSP, CPP, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification.
  • Experience managing and aligning diverse teams across various disciplines, including operational, engineering, product, and UX.
  • Experience interacting with and influencing diverse technical/non-technical groups, at peer and executive levels.
  • Ability to lead projects by navigating priorities, measurable objectives, dependencies, planning, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and subsequent monitoring, through informal authority.
  • Ability to successfully navigate through competing priorities, present complex ideas with clarity, and build strong partnerships with stakeholders through strong analytical, communication, and people skills.

As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational processes and business requirements to ensure alignment with the overall vision and delivery of the technology roadmap, new or existing products, with a focus on accessibility, scalable growth, automation, and business outcomes that mitigate key risks.
  • Guide the build of technology solutions, from strategic planning to tactical activities such as gathering requirements, developing user stories, lab testing and creating project, rollout and communications plans. Support evaluation, integration, and implementation of third-party solutions.
  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance of junior colleagues, direct reports, peers, and stakeholders as a subject matter expert in physical security towards shared business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of deployed solutions, gathering feedback and iterating to improve user experience and outcomes.
  • Manage highly confidential information and safeguard company intellectual property.
