Solution Delivery Program Manager, Extended Workforce Solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 3 years of experience working in Scaled Operations, Vendor Management or similar roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Program Management certification.
  • 3 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in Program Management with a technology company.
  • Experience writing Business Requirements Documents, driving tool implementation and working with technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt).

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. gTech’s Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team enables PAs to effectively and efficiently scale their extended workforce operations while managing risk. Our goal is to enable our businesses to make informed decisions to put the right talent in the right locations. Our partnership with teams across Google aims to provide an excellent user experience and minimizes administrative burden throughout the extended workforce process.

The Solution Delivery Team makes it easy for Google managers to engage with the extended workforce, providing training, standards, and guidelines to minimize Google’s risk and offering data and insights on planning and strategy for new and existing engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Improve extended workforce programs to meet business needs in terms of cost, quality, and speed.
  • Support transforming the extended workforce systems and tooling infrastructure by surfacing requirements, setting timelines, contributing to sprints and pilots, and supporting change.
  • Contribute to process reengineering efforts that improve overall performance, efficiencies and compliance.
  • Partner with extended workforce solutions (xWS) Risk and Compliance team to implement process improvements and controls required to maintain Alphabet’s adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Partner with xWS Partner Engagement function to plan, communicate, and execute operational change across Alphabet.
