Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development or a digital media environment.

About the job

In this role, you will be responsible for bringing product to market and market to product. You will be link between YouTube products, our business teams, partners, and users. You will be ensuring that YouTube develops the best product strategy for our users and partners, and will work to land product launches successfully in the market. You will synthesize feedback from the market, and surface that feedback to our product and business leads in an effort to continually improve our products. You will provide product and business solutions across for our paid Music and Premium products and work closely with teams across YouTube surfaces to share insights. .

You will focus on bringing amazing experiences across platforms to our users and partnering with the YouTube Premium product team, YouTube partnerships teams and cross functional business line owners on business decision analysis, program management, agreement and special project support, business planning and operations, product go-to-market strategies and product feedback reporting.

You will be an expert in YouTube’s business models and proactively identifying/assessing/actioning tactical areas of opportunity. You will work with a cross-functional group of stakeholders and develop trusted relationships to align on and execute priorities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with Program Manager (PM), Engineers, Marketing, Public Relation (PR), Scaled education, Operations (Ops), Product Partnerships and Content Partnerships teams to shape product strategy, craft go-to-market strategy, comms and readiness for new products and synthesize global market feedback.
  • Provide insights and lead continuous product and operational excellence efforts at YouTube, working closely with Business, Product and Engineering teams.
  • Execute quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that translates data into actionable insights including, product/program data analysis, agreements or business scenario analyses, dashboarding, and deck building.
  • Coordinate and track progress on key programs, work streams and team-wide annual and quarterly objectives.
  • Partner with global, cross-functional YouTube and Google teams on YouTube Music & Premium business initiatives (annual strategy, agreement execution, performance tracking).
