Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine.
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure.
- Experience in C, C++, Python, Go.

In this role, you will be delivering in-demand vector search infrastructure. You will build most asked customer features.
The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud’s mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers.
Responsibilities
- Optimize the service for efficiency and throughput.
- Deliver developer friendly experiences.
- Collaborate with the Google Research team, Product managers, and other infrastructure teams to offer Vector Search as a Google Cloud AI platform solution.
