Program Manager, Content Strategy

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Project Management, a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience designing/managing enterprise-wide global programs with Engineering/Product teams, in cloud computing, software, hardware, or related technology field
  • 3 years of experience leading initiatives focused on executive communications, go-to-market strategy, content development, product positioning, or other relevant programs
  • Experience managing programs and processes across distributed systems

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related field
  • Experience facilitating, collaborating, and influencing at all levels of the organization and with cross-functional partners
  • Strong analytical/problem solving-skills, good business judgment, and an ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling way
  • Excellent communication skills

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Google Cloud's Infrastructure and Solutions Group (ISG) is organized into 5 focus areas - Networking, Storage, Distributed Cloud, GeoExpansion, and Telco.

As an Infrastructure and Solutions Program Manager, you will work with Product and Engineering leaders and cross-functional teams to define program strategy, coordinate resources, design/document/improve/automate/scale processes, and execute initiatives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive compelling product positioning aligned with broader Cloud and GCP messaging.
  • Partner with GTM, Enablement, Marketing, Communications, PR, Product, and Engineering to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Craft story pitches, messaging guidelines, blog posts, Q&As, presentations, and speeches to support ISG executives.
  • Equip senior executives with compelling messaging for both internal and external audiences to accelerate Cloud growth.
  • Gather and leverage deep product knowledge, positioning, and market insights to help inform product vision, strategy, roadmap, and investments.
