  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in program management coordinating large cross-organizational programs along with problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Experience in helping teams measure and improve operational excellence and product excellence along with leadership, people and communication skills.
  • Experience in agile methodology and full product development lifecycle of enterprise software products.
  • Experience in projects related to sales, compensation, or similar fields.
  • Excellent program management fundamentals on technical cross-functional projects (e.g., planning, execution, estimation, risk management, stakeholder management).

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving large-scale, cross-functional programs. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across engineering, product management, UX, and other strategic functions to define the strategy and oversee the execution of critical programs in the GTM space, which includes transact, partner, partner incentives and sales compensation portfolio for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business partners (e.g., sales strategy and operations, compensation) and Google Cloud Business Platform Product Management and engineering to define goals, strategy, and roadmaps, and collect requirements from various sources.
  • Analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally, along with managing multiple interdependent projects with high complexity and scope.
  • Manage quality of delivery and customer satisfaction for area of ownership, driving continual improvement and provide guidance and manage timelines, milestones, and migration goals, leading the implementation journey.
  • Identify process improvement areas and solutions, and share and encourage best practices across global teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Develop best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support initiatives to scale.
