Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working in digital content/media, sales, business development, or consultative role.
  • 3 years experience in media/ e-commerce industy

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in e-commerce, consulting firm, or internet strategy, industry or market research, and business analytics
  • Experience in researching consumer trends, competitor strategies and industry developments to keep category offerings relevant. Passion for the new media and e-commerce industry.
  • Excellent communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and value points with partners and internal Google teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a creative, open-minded, persistent, and collaborative understanding of Google products.
  • Excellent consultation and problem solving skills for external stakeholders. Experience working in Business Development, Project Management, Program Management or Product Management roles.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

In this role, you will work in the Creator and Shopping team within YouTube partnerships, and be responsible to grow and manage a video commerce venture on YouTube. You will be directly responsible for partner accounts and their on-platform goals on YouTube including adopting features, driving Gross merchandise volume (GMV) and building a go-to-market to support the business deliverables. You will also be responsible for working with cross functional team on the overall shopping strategy for India.

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of YouTube shopping in India market with ownership of critical Business metrics (GMV and Earning channels). Own relationship with external partners to jointly build business plans, support execution and share on creator and content dimensions.
  • Analyze campaign performance, business data, video commerce market reports, and KPIs to inform market shopping strategies.
  • Collaborate across various cross-functional teams to bring the best of YouTube to partners and keep our Cross-functional (XFN) teams updated on partner and market developments to aid decision making.
  • Support development of GTM strategy and long-term strategies across product categories aligned with overarching business goals.
  • Develop knowledge of the market segment and global events, and continually monitor competitor efforts, develop and build relationships with commerce-focused agencies to help them succeed on YouTube, and develop new business opportunities.
