As an Account Strategist, you will be the trusted advisor of Google, responsible for managing and growing a critical portfolio of SMB clients, specializing in the dynamic E-commerce and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sectors. In this role, you will require a sales professional with a balance of "farmer" (account management) and "hunter" (upsell/growth) skills, comfortable operating at scale while delivering service to key customersGoogle Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of e-commerce and retail clients (Farmer Focus) driving upsell opportunities and sustained growth.
  • Consult with clients as a trusted advisor by understanding their KPIs, identifying growth opportunities, and anticipating needs to drive sustained success.
  • Pitch and implement growth sales strategies to advertisers through a consultative approach, both virtually and in-person.
  • Drive high-volume, operational client engagement by managing day-to-day interactions with clients.
  • Identify key client stakeholders and agency partners, build strong rapport, and effectively manage objections to secure buy-in for plans.
