Senior Retention Marketing Manager, YouTube Music and Premium (Spanish, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on product, growth, performance and life-cycle marketing.
  • Experience defining and owning multi-year product and life-cycle marketing strategies using behavioral and measurement insights to develop multi-disciplinary road maps and business cases to grow direct-to-consumer businesses.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently in order to communicate with stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in subscriptions marketing.
  • Experience building models and building business growth strategy and goals.
  • Ability to build global customer marketing programs, leading multidisciplinary teams to grow customer LTV and satisfaction.

In this role, you will drive sustainable, incremental paid subscriber growth and maximize customer lifetime value for YouTube Music and Premium. You will be responsible for the Paid Member life-cycle marketing programs, from on-boarding to churn prevention. Partnering across Marketing, Product, Engineering and UX, you will work with executive leaders to build the marketing execution infrastructure and measurement solutions that enhance the usefulness and effectiveness of communications. You will develop product marketing road maps to improve utilization, and deliver engaging, data-driven business cases to supercharge our re-acquisition multi-channel programs.

You will manage and develop a team of Product Marketing Managers across multiple sites, fostering a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning, and executional excellence. You will navigate complex global and regional matrices, acting as a mediator to ensure alignment on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and go-to-market execution.

Responsibilities

  • Define the global YouTube Music & Premium Member marketing direction, creating a unified life-cycle strategy for marketing, product, engineering, UX and support teams to develop critical user journeys that maximize Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), minimize Churn, and supercharge win back programs.
  • Orchestrate sophisticated, contextual marketing campaigns that help Members discover features, nurture new consumption habits and reinforce personal value throughout their life-cycle leveraging own and operated channels.
  • Own the multi-channel win back growth and incentives marketing programs aiming to maximize the reactivation of lapsed Members.
  • Establish critical business metrics and measurement frameworks to evaluate Member health and satisfaction, maintain A/B experimentation road maps.
  • Lead and develop a multi-site team, anticipate and resolve life-cycle marketing challenges and influence multiple Director level stakeholders to define and deliver mutually beneficial solutions.
