About the job

Shopping on YouTube will help develop YouTube as a shopping destination for all types of videos, including live, to become a creator-inspired shopping destination to discover and buy creator-recommended products, services, and experiences from trusted merchants seamlessly.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the business objectives and strategy for creators and companies to encourage the creation of shop content on YouTube shopping across Music, Gaming, Sports, TV/Film, and more. In partnership with Product Management and Program Management, you will use consumer product acumen or go-to-market experience to transform and grow shopping on YouTube across verticals.At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the product roadmap, brand and user journeys, and advocate for their vertical's needs in shopping.
  • Establish lighthouse cases and case studies across key verticals of music, gaming, sports, and TV/film.
  • Help get the flywheel spinning across brands, creators, and across verticals and develop blueprints and playbooks to enable them to continue leveraging shopping features.
  • Drive adoption of YouTube shopping in Japan market with ownership of critical Business metrics (e.g., Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and Earning channels).
