Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in program management.
- 7 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
- 5 years of people management experience, including growing leads and managers.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
- 7 years of experience in supervisory.
- Experience with enterprise scale software development.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and change, and to create conditions for Technical Program Managers to succeed working within a dynamic environment.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary developer projects using your developer expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with developers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Developer-specific programs and teams.
As a Technical Program Manager within Chrome Browser, you will provide developer program management for building our most critical and innovative features to end users, in close partnership with Product Management, User Experience, and cross-functional teams, including performance optimizations, growing our presence on mobile/desktop, harnessing GenAI, bringing new capabilities users.

Responsibilities
- Be a thought leader within Google and industry on the subject matter domain of the respective organization.
- Establish a reliable and visible cadence for portfolio reviews, decision making, prioritization, and resource management, whereby improvements are measurable and the impact can be felt organization wide (e.g., effective redeployment of machine and people resources leading to efficiency and utilization gains, mapping to the concept of Resource Stewardship).
- Drive measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity. Establish governance over prioritization decisions to ensure alignment with key performance indicators.
- Be a change advocate responsible for initiating and leading multiple organizations through pivots needed to address shifts in business trends and priorities.
- Lead strategic planning framework for a complex program portfolio including direct influence over resourcing decisions, planning cadence, and planning stakeholders.
