Strategy and Operations Principal Lead, Global Commercial Enablement

  • 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.

About the job

Our team is a core part of the newly-formed Global Commercial Enablement (GCE) organization, which serves as the activation engine in GTM for the Global Business Organization (GBO). In this role, you will be the operational arm for global sales activation, you will work to deliver the best of Google's products to sellers and customers through compelling incentives, prioritized activities, and clear, effective processes.The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $186,000-$270,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead problem solving related to the Global Business Organization's "activation engine" (e.g., a universal product taxonomy, prioritization of ads products and business motions, and the application of activation levers (e.g., sales incentives, collateral, training, and tools)).
  • Build relationships and partner across go-to-market, sales, and product organizations to foster cross-functional alignment.
  • Provide thought leadership and serve as a subject matter expert related to commercial activation and strategy development topics.
  • Create and deliver clear written communications and presentations, tailored to audience levels, in support of recommendations and implementation considerations.
  • Communicate findings to executive leadership in the shape of executive-ready presentations and thoughtful facilitation of strategy topics across functional teams.
