Business Development Representative, Security, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in B2B technology sales.
  • Experience in sales development and relationship management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in exceeding business goals in the technology industry with cloud computing solutions or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting tools (i.e., Salesloft, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo) and CRM software (i.e., Salesforce).
  • Experience sourcing leads and generating business pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Google Security products and services.
  • Ability to quickly establish trustworthy relationships with prospects and assess their needs.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish, French, Italian, German or Arabic fluently to interact with external customers.

Google Cloud Security is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team.

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by generating qualified opportunities and building relationships with potential customers. You will have an opportunity to work in business within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage ideal customer profiles through targeted outreach, leveraging various channels like cold calling, email, and social selling.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure they are a good fit for the company's products or services.
  • Develop rapport and trust with potential customers, fostering relationships that can lead to successful business conversions.
  • Nurture qualified leads and move them through the business pipeline, collaborating closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Gather insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategies and improve outreach effectiveness.
