Strategic Partner Development Manager III, Security, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Partner Management, Business Development, Sales, or Channel Development in the technology industry.
  • Experience in public cloud solutions across SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS.
  • Experience in, or supporting, Security partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing and growing technology partnership relationships with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
  • Experience interfacing with, and being a trusted partner for, C-level executives in partner companies.
  • Experience launching partner products and solutions, including complex channel go-to-market motions such as multi-partner solutions, procurement through cloud marketplaces, and consumption-based solutions; experience planning and managing at strategic and operational levels.
  • Experience working in a partnership role at a leading SaaS company.

About the job

As the Strategic Partner Development Manager, Security, you will drive the recruitment strategy of new partners into the portfolio and accelerate their adoption of Google Cloud services. You will work across Google Cloud’s Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and customer-facing organizations to foster strong executive alignment with these partners, develop a co-innovation plan for new solutions and orchestrate the co-sell motion between Google Cloud and the partners sales organizations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Recruit new partners and grow existing partnerships for Security to address market opportunities, expand business, and create balanced partner portfolios. Structure new commercial terms to partner commitment to building solutions on Google Cloud.
  • Create opportunities for new intellectual property and differentiation across Security partnerships and build an innovative goal, focused on Security, for new partner solutions on Google Cloud.
  • Drive the creation of global demand generation and Go-to-market plans to achieve Google Cloud and partner sales goals. Build the Security Technology Partners annual plan for each assigned partner with the regional Partner and Field Sales organizations.
  • Support assigned partners in your portfolio around key areas (Operations, Finance, Sales, Product Enhancement, etc.). Work cross-functionally to resolve business tests properly and promptly.
