About the job

In this role, you will act as a lead seller for ads, be a key opinion leader, grow partnerships representing Google externally beyond ads and cross-channel, and work with some of the largest Japanese companies. You'll actively lead and coach high-performing Sales teams that use consultative skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions. You'll also work with the Sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business.

Within Google, you'll be the primary advocate and lead seller of your industry sector. You will share the opportunities and challenges of the market, and communicate the priorities for our products. Within the region, you'll set transparent objectives, collaborate with your functional counterparts and execute. You'll use an analytical approach to sales management to establish and grow some of the most significant client businesses in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team and work with the regional sales teams to focus on existing and new customers, and to develop strong relationships with clients and their marketing services agencies.
  • Develop and execute a strategy for driving ad business and growth with advertisers on a national/international level in a highly competitive environment.
  • Establish and nurture C-level relationships to develop joint strategic plans that address client needs and cover new business opportunities, by creating and executing account plans, business processes, and growth strategies.
  • Lead, hire, train, and mentor a Sales team to drive high growth AI solutions to advertisers and build strategic partnerships. 
  • Foster a culture of learning and excellence, coach the team on consultative selling and AI-powered solutions.
