Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role with/without direct reports.
About the job
As a Technical Partner Engagement Manager, you will utilize your video technology experience, industry expertise and existing relationships to advance YouTube’s global strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to build operational processes that deliver TV and media experiences for our partners.In this role, you will be organized with attention to detail, along with excellent planning and tracking progress of key milestones, developing and maintaining relationships with our partners and stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Lead a team that is responsible for the on-boarding and ongoing operations relationships with some of YouTube’s strategic TV and media partners.
- Leverage TV and media industry expertise to identify and cultivate new content and technology opportunities and provide regular partner intelligence updates to cross-functional teams.
- Ensure the team understands and represents YouTube’s technical interests during partner agreement negotiations and can identify potential operational risks or mitigate those risks via cross-functional collaboration and creative problem solving with our partners.
- Drive collaboration with internal teams to refine existing processes and tools used by partners and operators.
- Partner with our Product, Business and Strategy teams to identify new partnership opportunities and support the operational needs for the region and product. Create and manage partner on-boarding timelines for APAC.
