Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, including coding (e.g.,SQL), querying databases, or statistical analysis.
- Experience with managing data sets to make business recommendations.
- Experience in financial reporting standards.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with code management concepts and a desire to evolve at pace with AI.
- Experience crafting data-driven narratives to influence leadership decision making.
- Knowledge of our product areas and performance marketing concepts (e.g., ROAS, incrementality, etc.).
- Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision making with numerical analysis and generating insights.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to strategically partner with executive business and product leadership at all levels.
About the job
In this role, you will be the subject matter expert (SME) in Advertising (Ads) products, Verticals, and Agency horizontals. You will lead key commercial initiatives, including incentives and the program analyzing advertiser profitability based on financial metrics and product performance. You will possess a presence to influence executive-level decision-making and impact business direction. You will prioritize multiple projects and find creative ways to manage big-picture issues, effectively balancing the roles of advocate and challenger to influence business partners. You will deploy problem-solving and technical skills to create impactful, principled decisions grounded in data, addressing ad-hoc business inquiries and evolving Global Business Organization's (GBO) strategy. Your expertise in value propositions and financial reporting will allow you to support external engagements and influence advertiser strategies. By building cross-functional relationships, you will use data to drive outcomes and support key business decisions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) landscape.The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. - Build and maintain a network of productive relationships and serve as a business partner across Finance, Go-to-Market (GTM), and business leadership to progress key Product/Ads Value Accelerator (AVA) priorities and manage a wide range of operational questions.
- Provide thought leadership and influence decision-making through knowledge and understanding of key business drivers, product trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor business performance trends and financial metrics, separating signal from noise, bringing related insights to appropriate forums to drive awareness and required action.
- Manage a portfolio of data-driven analysis projects that deliver actionable insights to grow the business and mitigate risk; act as the connective tissue between teams, connecting the dots to inform and tailor business strategy and ensure local landing.
- Craft and deliver compelling narratives in a variety of executive decision-making forums with internal and external stakeholders.
