Field Activation Lead, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business or business enablement.
  • Experience in working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
  • Experience in delivering Go-to-Market (GTM) motions and managing GTM processes, analytics, and reporting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Experience in developing business plays for Cloud products.
  • Experience in working across organizational boundaries, building relationships and ideas to achieve organizational goals.
  • Experience with content creation and narrative development.

About the job

In this role, you will bring the experience and thought leadership to help drive direction, mission, and strategy around Go-to-Market's (GTM's) activation strategy. You will partner with the field to implement changes that drive customer success. You will be accountable for sourcing customer insights and channeling them back to the field to quantify field adoption through success metrics such as opportunities, opportunity conversion rates, win rates, etc. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Learning and Development, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Partners and Business. You will interface with customers by helping them to understand Google Cloud’s offerings and gathering their feedback. You will recommend ways to adapt as the market and customer needs change.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Business Enablement team to develop and execute skill development programs to enable promoters to deliver on business plays.
  • Solicit feedback from the field and from customers to improve and iterate on activation strategies in order to drive solutions and improve business performance.
  • Establish a mechanism for tracking promoter engagement and agreement status as a result of business activation programs.
  • Work across partners in Learning and Enablement, Business, Product, Marketing, and Strategy and Operations to help towards achieving business goals.
