We are the Strategy and Operations team that supports the Product partnership areas in APAC across Knowledge & Information(K&I), Platforms & Devices (P&D) and News partnerships. This role will focus on shaping strategy on functional areas and streamlining operations across News partnerships in APAC.

The APAC News Partnerships (NP) team works to transform Google’s relationships with the news industry in the Asia Pacific region. Our team provides solutions — from helping news organizations grow and transform their business and find new audiences, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with the partners to grow our business and theirs, build trust and relationships.

  • Run quantitative analysis (modeling, forecasting, data storytelling) to help Google take a principled approach to News agreements and programs.
  • Support strategic planning of News Partnerships’ efforts by developing budgets and forecasts, designing and improving processes and governance frameworks to ensure operational excellence in decision making and execution, providing day-to-day support for market approaches and negotiations, as well as coordinating with a variety of Google teams (e.g. Product, gTech, Finance, Legal, and other GBO partnerships teams).
  • Create clear and simple narratives to inform and influence executives.
