Group Product Manager, Fitbit

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with hardware, device software, operating systems, silicon and other foundational blocks of the stack.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Excellent user experience intuition, with demonstrated success in inventing innovative and user-friendly products.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Responsibilities

  • Build and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Define and implement a strategic outlook for the health and fitness experience of millions of Fitbit Trackers and Pixel Watches.
  • Develop strategic evaluation frameworks for prioritizing focus areas based on understanding user needs, competitor analysis and industry trends.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX, Research, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Google, including wearables, Android, Wear and research, and effectively communicate product outlook, strategy, and progress to leadership and key stakeholders.
