Director, Chile Country Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in sales or business development focused on enterprise customers
  • 10 years of experience growing and leading teams and businesses within a multinational and matrixed organization
  • 10 years of experience selling IT solutions to companies
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in cloud computing
  • Commercial sales experience in a global organization, leading teams in a hyperscale growth environment
  • Experience with C-level customer relationships and connectivity, including leading commercial agreements, and a track record of growing the business/product
  • Deep expertise in the Chile Enterprise market, including knowledge of the enterprise software/infrastructure marketplace
  • Effective cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills

About the job

As the Director of Google Cloud Sales for Chile, you'll have a highly visible leadership role in a fast-growing, quick-moving area of Google’s business. You will drive the team to meet and exceed business growth goals while driving customer satisfaction. You will bring an operational approach to recruiting, coaching, and managing your team.

As the Google Cloud Chile Country Manager, you will be the official face of Google Cloud and will drive how media, business, government, and consumers in the Chilean market view Google Cloud. You will have responsibility for the strategy and execution of the organization’s business plan along with achieving goals within the market. You'll drive business growth and customer acquisition for Google Cloud. In addition, you will be the figurehead for Google Cloud internally and work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and an integrated go-to-market with other organizations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage entrepreneurial talents, and will run the business autonomously while leveraging where the group fits into the broader organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall Google Cloud strategy for the Chile region, directly managing the Cloud Sales leadership team to meet quarterly and annual business growth goals across enterprise and accounts.
  • Continue to inject operational excellence into the organization, create and drive innovative growth programs at scale, and contribute strategically to the direction of Google Cloud products and services. 
  • Work at an executive level with customers/prospects, directly participate in key agreements, and manage a valuable external network of partners and customer executives to grow large accounts.
  • Attract and develop talent, coach the team with actionable feedback, and foster a high-performance culture that effectively leads people through change.
  • Develop and maintain role, industry, and geographically appropriate business playbooks, tools, and guides with clear messaging and positioning for various Google Cloud audiences
