Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
- Experience working in consumer electronics including products and technologies.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in navigating and delivering results in global and consumer-centric professional settings.
- Experience in project management and organizational oversight, underpinned by critical thinking and problem-solving expertise.
- Experience influencing cross-functional groups and driving outcomes within environments that prioritize shared decision-making and collaboration.
- Experience working with staff and stakeholders that are geographically dispersed.
- Understanding of consumer electronics or smartphone launch cycles, with the ability to transition seamlessly from high-level strategy to detailed execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including active listening.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Responsibilities
- Lead aspects of Product Planning and Launch for Pixel with a focus on launch strategy.
- Lead or assist in core initiatives involving APAC phone launches and program sustainability.
- Own significant elements of launch of Pixel phone end-to-end across APAC, leading across product, GTM, partnerships, marketing, forward, reverse, and operations activities.
- Coordinate with global/local and cross-functional program managers (sales, marketing, supply chain) achieving global synthesis for the Pixel product team.
- Prepare and distribute various reports and updates on the status of the project to various audiences, including executive management, functional management, etc.
