About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As the APAC Strategy and Operations (StratOps) Manager, you will serve as the lead advisor to the APAC Regional Director, responsible for integrating regional operations and driving business cadence and decisions. This role entails designing, building, and leading the regional functions that enable the organization to scale effectively and navigate expansion complexities.

A primary responsibility will be to partner closely with Central Operations and peers in other regions to define and build the strategic pillars within the APAC Strat Ops function to eliminate duplication and free up management capacity. You will work to ensure the regional model is robust, scalable and globally aligned.

The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible. We empower Google customers with breakthrough capabilities and insights by delivering AI and Infrastructure at unparalleled scale, efficiency, reliability and velocity. Our customers include Googlers, Google Cloud customers, and billions of Google users worldwide.

We're the driving channel behind Google's groundbreaking innovations, empowering the development of our cutting-edge AI models, delivering unparalleled computing power to global services, and providing the essential platforms that enable developers to build the future. Responsibilities

  • Design and own the APAC operating cycle, managing financial reviews, key performance indicators (KPI) tracking, and executive-level reporting.
  • Partner with global teams to implement core pillars for analytics, operational excellence, and regional resilience.
  • Drive regional operational simplification and manage the framework for governance, risk, and global standard exceptions.
  • Oversee new site activations and construction starts by implementing standard playbooks to ensure regional operational scale.
  • Direct the regional financial strategy (operational expenditure/capital expenditure) and workforce planning to maintain organizational health and budgetary control.
