Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience using commercial Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Configure, Pricing and Quoting (CPQ) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Experience in an enterprise B2B and channel sales environment working either as an operations contributor or directly in a program management capacity.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Certification in Program Management or experience in program management with a technology company.
  • Experience with SQL, data manipulation, reporting, and quantitative analysis.
  • Experience in working with a range of functional domains (e.g., engineering/user experience/product, finance, policy/legal, marketing, communications) or consulting.
  • Ability to build partnerships with leaders and their teams across Google and with external partners.
  • Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

Within Google Cloud, the Consumption Excellence (CX) team is responsible for simplifying our systems to drive global process standardization and scale field productivity. Our goal is to transform our core operations systems into an enterprise-grade digital platform to drive consumption excellence.

As a Program Manager for Google Cloud’s CX Go to Market Strategy and Operations team, you will operate as a key stakeholder in the Google Cloud product contracting and operations lifecycle. You will partner with product, sales, engineering and other cross-functional partners to develop systems, tools, and processes. You will empower our sellers and channel partners with the tools and data they need to be more productive and successful. You will work directly with Google Cloud executives and leaders to manage project status across critical workstreams and deliverables for the program, including leading the coordination of multiple teams, driving and monitoring timelines and deliverables, and partnering and communicating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will use your excellent business acumen to leverage a deep understanding of processes to guide decision-making, solve problems, and provide investigative insight and business judgment to support strategic and tactical initiatives across the Cloud organization

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage an overview of project goals and deliverables presented on a timeline and use the roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations, and to communicate plans and coordinate resources.
  • Collaborate with team members or stakeholders to understand or identify work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Complete (e.g., budget, schedule, resource, technical) risk identification and risk assessment activities and mitigation plans in addition to monitoring foreseeable risk, and recording its evolution and influence on project/program objectives.
  • Establish and track processes in collaboration with stakeholders, hold stakeholders/teams accountable for following the established processes, identify sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Secure resources, ensure work alignment with compliance/privacy policies, identify opportunities, implement process improvements, and support/promote the adoption of processes.
