Practice Lead, Infrastructure and Migrations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a customer-facing role in the enterprise technology space.
  • Experience managing development of technical solutions or GTM strategy and execution within the Infrastructure, Cloud, or Enterprise SaaS domains.
  • Experience with Compute Platforms technology stack and deployment options in the cloud.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to communicate with local customers.


Preferred qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience in promoting to enterprise customers.
  • Experience with Compute and HPC related matters especially as they relate to enterprise architectures.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of specialist sales in large organizations or specialized product.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication/presentation skills, and effective strategic and problem-solving skills. Ability to plan, pitch, and execute a start to finish business strategy.

As a Practice Lead, you will build, lead, and develop a Go-to-Market motion, and activate field sales. Bringing your experience and thought leadership to help create a roadmap and set a go-to-market strategy for Japan. You will develop and incubate new solution initiatives and provide input on the materials to support them with a broad cross-functional group of stakeholders, including Product Engineering, Marketing, Solutions Management, and Sales teams, to define a go-to-market strategy for Compute Solutions to meet the adoption, business generation, and growth goals at Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Create an integrated Japan go-to-market strategy for Compute and AI Infrastructure Commercialization at Google Cloud. Act as business plays owner in the region.
  • Be responsible business plays, partnering with Inside Sales Representative to create pipeline.
  • Ensure business play readiness partnering with Field Sales through the activation session and periodical monitoring with KPIs.
  • Partner closely with Regional Technology team, Product leaders, Sales strategy, and executive leadership to ensure solutions alignment with engineering, product priorities, and GTM priorities.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to build horizontal solution marketing plans and ensure the funnel is always on to Inside Sales.
