Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 6 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience delivering data products at enterprises.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer side web technologies.
  • 8 years of experience working with Unix or Linux operating systems/commands.
  • 8 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.
  • 8 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 8 years of experience in operations management (i.e., process improvement, operational reviews, optimizing workflows, etc.).

In this role, you will be responsible for driving all go-to-market functions for the YouTube Business Organization including strategy and business operations, analytics and data science, partnership enablement, and product activation. The team is responsible for shaping go-to-market priorities to accelerate growth and resource the business accordingly, enhancing skills and capabilities to support execution of business priorities, driving efficiency across business operations, and building excellent go-to-market infrastructure (e.g., data, reports, dashboards).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize the data architecture and extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipelines to make them accessible for Business Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business users to enable data driven decision making.
  • Drive data program initiatives to support self-service reporting capabilities for business consumers.
  • Contribute to YouTube's Looker platform by managing infrastructure, maintaining LookML and define best practices.
  • Work closely with analysts and scale value-creating capabilities, including data integrations and transformations, model features, statistical and machine learning models.
  • Drive the highest standards in data reliability, data integrity, and data governance, enabling accurate, consistent, data sets, business intelligence products, and analyses.
