As part of the Google Cloud Communications team in Global Communications and Public Affairs (GCPA), it’s our job to help inform and educate customers, partners, opinion leaders, and our own employees, about the benefits of our products, our company culture and values, and our approach to the big public policy issues of the day.
Responsibilities
- Drive the global external communications strategy for Google’s infrastructure, including data centers and subsea cables, in high-growth geographic regions.
- Develop, write, and edit compelling communications materials, including statements, story pitches, and announcements.
- Be a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to key business partners.
- Cultivate media and partner relationships to drive awareness, excitement, and factual reporting about Google’s global infrastructure.
- Manage crisis communications scenarios (when necessary).
