Technical Curriculum Developer, Cloud Learning Services

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Cloud Data or a related discipline.
  • 4 years of experience with cloud computing technologies.
  • 4 years of experience as a technical instructor or in technical training curriculum development.
  • Experience within learning content, including technical topics to novice or non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Associate or professional certification in ML/AI or Data.
  • Experience creating and managing learning (i.e., labs) by collaborating with highly technical subject matter experts and managers to develop training content and curricula.
  • Experience coding in Python, SQL, and TensorFlow, and applying these technologies to build and deploy solutions.
  • Experience building and managing data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with R and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to collaborate with highly technical subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop training content and curricula.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain technical learning content and curricula for various cloud roles. These roles include ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Developers. You will translate technical content into effective learning content and curricula.

As a Technical Curriculum Developer, you will have significant past experience working as a Curriculum Developer and in-depth search into one or several Cloud solutions or products (i.e., Cloud Data or ML/AI solutions and products such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Dataplex, Cloud Composer, Cloud Spanner) and understanding their role in enabling Generative AI in order to develop effective training for our customers.

In this role, you will have deep knowledge in Cloud computing technologies, proficiency with Learning and development tools and technologies (i.e., authoring tools, learning platforms, and other relevant technologies) for creating and delivering engaging learning experiences. You’ll also use your ability to translate technical content into effective learning solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop creative, learner-centered training content for on-demand, instructor-led, and blended training. Build associated assets including labs, videos, facilitator guides, and other resources.
  • Collaborate effectively with Engineers, Portfolio Managers, and other partners to support initiatives.
  • Ensure and drive best practices standardization across all projects, content, and curricula.
  • Perform needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the learning needs of each audience across global audiences.
