About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading projects and provide analysis and deliverables that will help to evolve the regional strategy and accelerate carbon reduction. As part of these efforts, you will turn insights/recommendations into action by working with various stakeholders, including key cross-functional leadership. You will partner with external experts to shape the perspective on carbon, energy, and other efforts and enable the broader decarbonization ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight for the carbon reduction, clean energy, and water strategy in APAC.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to develop and execute initiatives in pursuit of Google’s net zero and related sustainability commitments.
  • Lead efforts with external experts and industry partners to drive progress on regional climate priorities.
  • Manage an evolving portfolio of projects and initiatives that advance the Climate Ops organization and enable its core objectives.
