Finance Manager, Cloud Strategic Missions and Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, consulting, a related function, or an advanced degree.
  • Experience with Financial Modeling.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Cloud agreements structuring and strategy.
  • Experience with data sets and dashboard creation (e.g., data visualization).
  • Knowledge of the Cloud/Software industry, including various roles and incentives.
  • Ability to self-direct work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment, and work with ambiguity.
  • Excellent quantitative, organizational, written, and presentation skills, with a passion for continuous development in these areas

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

The team develops cloud solutions to enable clients’ digital transformation. The Finance team plays a crucial role in driving long-term value for GCP and Alphabet, as well as business growth through AI Native agreements. These agreements significantly utilize high-compute chips (GPUs and TPUs) for AI infrastructure. You will collaborate with teams, product leads, and channel leads to develop sales motions and credit programs, ensuring GCP's success in the competitive startup space.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate and implement financial strategies that support the organization's long-term growth objectives, conduct analysis to uncover opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and business growth enhancement, and translate strategic insights into plans, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Oversee the execution of strategic finance projects, ensuring delivery, support communication and collaboration across diverse teams to achieve project milestones, manage agreements globally, provide comprehensive financial oversight, own the entire agreements lifecycle, from initial opportunity identification to final closure, and collaborate with agreements teams, encompassing the AI Native and Ecosystems Startup, GSI, and Digital Native sales teams, to achieve shared objectives.
  • Support two-way communication between various Finance, Business teams, and more ensuring operational compliance and an improved experience for marketers.
