UX Designer II

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with industry standard design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, etc.).
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with animation and designing in slides and documents.
  • Understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and composition.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent visual design, communication and collaboration skills.

As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs, you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

Responsibilities

  • Help bring Human Understanding and Experience’s (HUE) brand to life through engaging and inspiring designs across a variety of platforms, collaborate with a diverse, talented team to create communications and designs that are accessible, visually engaging, and on-brand.
  • Create brand familiarity and growth by adhering to brand guidelines and ensure all visual communications are aligned with our brand identity. Help in expanding and exploring the new brand expressions.
  • Design email templates and create a variety of email templates for events, announcements, newsletters, and more.
  • Craft presentation decks and work with various teams to design presentations that are engaging and informative, helping them effectively communicate their messages.
  • Collaborate with partners from cross-functional teams to understand their needs and deliver designs that meet their objectives.
