People Consultant

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience working as a Human Resource (HR) Business Partner or HR Generalist with consulting to the business on performance management, reorganizations, talent management or change.
  • Experience with Human Resource (HR) process and providing HR business solutions.
  • Experience of managing stakeholders (e.g., national and international).
  • Experience with Swiss labor law.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and influence and coaching and mentoring others.
  • Experience in Human Resource (HR) or people programs.
  • Experience in working with a system or Artificial Intelligence (AI) supported tools.
  • Ability to focus on client-service with delivering quality customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal, consultation, teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Excellent investigative and problem solving skills, with the ability to organize and analyze data using Human Resource Information System (HRIS) for reporting.

You’ll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Google through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across organizational boundaries, and navigate the People Operations (POps) ecosystem to influence people priorities and solutions in service of the business, product, or market.
  • Motivate operational excellence across the organization to improve processes, operations, and service delivery, and influence forward thinking interventions, process and product improvements.
  • Act as a Human Resource (HR) advisor, mentor, and partner to Google employees, Managers, and Leaders, and manage risk mitigation and de-escalating/resolving HR matters.
  • Provide HR guidance, managing clients, business, and company needs against risks, to solve HR problems, build relationships, and increase Google employees, Manager, and Leader capability.
