Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Crisis Management, Risk Management, Emergency Management, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in setting up or facilitating a crisis management capability, leading crisis response and delivering crisis management training.
  • Experience in the technology sector or with data centers and technical infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Project Management certification.
  • Experience creating executive-level briefings/presentations.
  • Ability to maintain composure, confidence and professionalism when leading others through ambiguous and complex situations and crisis events.
  • Ability to serve in a rotating on-call schedule, including occasional evening and weekend work as events dictate.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional problem solving teams using structured approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and visual) with the proven ability to engage and influence personnel at all levels of an organization.

About the job

As part of the Threat Analysis and Crisis Services (TACS) team, you will be a critical pillar of Google Data Center’s Compliance, Strategy, and Risk Management (CSRM) organization. You will provide 24/7 threat monitoring, crisis management, and intelligence to protect Google’s Technical Infrastructure, including people, operations, assets and supply chain. You will enable the safe expansion of AI/ML and Cloud growth, ensuring Google’s foundation remains resilient against emerging global threats.

As a Crisis and Resilience Regional Manager, you will execute the Crisis Management Program for Google’s Data Centers and Technical Infrastructure (TI), shielding the business from disruptions. You will proactively identify gaps, monitor emerging threats, and maintain critical response infrastructure. Through targeted training and simulation exercises, you will build high-performing, prepared teams. You will serve as the primary leader and coordinator for regional and global response during incidents. Post-crisis, you will drive continuous improvement by translating lessons learned into stronger, updated playbooks that safeguard company people, assets, and continuity.The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$193,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage and scale the crisis management framework globally, aligning cross-functional partners and monitoring emerging threats.
  • Establish and maintain the critical tools and resources necessary for rapid, effective crisis communication and co-ordination.
  • Design and deliver tailored training and realistic simulation exercises to build capability and pressure-test response plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during activations, guiding responses to protect assets and minimize disruption.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews, assess program risks, and document lessons learned to remediate gaps and continuously mature the program.
