About the job

The Subscriptions and Customer Growth Marketing organization drives consumer apps and subscription growth. We partner with product engineering and insights to understand the user and bring helpful products to market while deepening the consumer relationship. We are passionate about showing consumers how to get more out of their favorite Google subscriptions and consumer apps.

The Google One marketing team is responsible for all global marketing, managing feature launches, multi-channel campaigns, and partnerships to drive a significant portion of the product's subscriber and business growth. We are at the forefront of cross-Google subscriptions and AI, and our team is expanding.

As a Growth Marketing Manager, you will own, define, and execute Owned and Operated (O&O) marketing campaigns that drive measurable growth in driving acquisition, upgrades and engagement. You will work closely with stakeholders across Google teams including marketing, product, UX, and engineering, to strategically design and deliver campaigns and experiences that educate, inspire and delight customers at key moments in their customer lifecycle. This role is part of a fast-paced marketing team where strong business strategy and communication skills are critical to success.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and implement engaging email campaigns that nurture leads, drive conversions, and winback efforts.
  • Utilize data to create audience segments for personalized email communications across our users lifecycle.
  • Track key email metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, Return on Investment (ROI), and Cross-Product Area (xPA) product usage. Use data to identify areas for improvement and optimize campaigns through A/B testing efforts.
  • Align email marketing efforts with key business goals, such as increasing user engagement, and driving subscriptions.
  • Create a email marketing strategy that aligns with the Gemini’s overall marketing objectives.
