Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in technical program management on cross-functional software development projects.
- Experience in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in domain areas such as API management, big data, infrastructure, compute, or developer operations.
- Demonstrated experience launching features to consumers through frontend software development or backend platform development.
- Proven track record of collaborating with and influencing stakeholders across various functions and sites, especially in situations with little authority and considerable ambiguity.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

Responsibilities
- Manage dependencies across workstreams, functions, and organizations.
- Drive and lead engineering teams to identify, prioritize and track tasks to completion goals.
- Identify risks and corresponding mitigation plans, and put into motion the solutions.
- Communicate progress, risks, and plans to leadership on a regular basis. Identify operational and process improvements and quickly set-up lightweight processes to fill gaps.
- Manage multiple, time-sensitive projects simultaneously. Partner closely with Program Managers and Engineering leads to understand and influence product direction and ensure execution matches.
