Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with partnership and collaboration across stakeholders.
- Experience influencing through disciplined use of data.
- Ability to self-start and self-direct in an unstructured environment.
- Excellent problem solving ability and analytical skills combined with business judgment.
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.

As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
Technical Infrastructure (TI) is the backbone of Google - the global data centers, networks and integrated hardware and software that power both Google customer products and services, including Google Cloud, and our internal operations. Google builds and operates one of the largest state-of-the-art private data center fleets in the world.
The TI Finance mission is to partner cross-functionally drive optimal decision-making, provide insights for strategic and tactical decisions, and bend the cost curve down.
In this role, you will operate at the intersection of demand and supply planning for our data center fleet. You will support efforts to ensure optimal use of Google capital to expand a rapidly growing data center footprint. You will work with key partners on fleet optimization, region expansion, ML roadmap, process automation, and demand and supply policy.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to TI business partners, accounting, finance, data science, and engineering teams.
- Influence and support senior management across Finance and the business to drive key financial metrics and improve financial insight and practices.
- Utilize your in-depth understanding of the latest technology, infrastructure, business and its underlying economic fundamentals to impact decision making.
- Manage and drive one or more large and complex programs spanning multiple organizations, and exercise business and technical understanding to drive toward the team’s long-term objectives.
- Guide financial model creation to help drive capacity and demand planning and delivery process optimization. Analyze data and synthesize raw information into insights and recommendations. Drive dashboards development and presentations to summarize financial analysis for business partners and Finance leadership.
